NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS
Presentation of Credentials
Gjorgji Avramcev, the new Permanent Representative of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Prior to his appointment to Geneva, Mr. Avramcev had been working at the Ministry of Economy of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as a Counsellor on World Trade Organization issues since 2004.
For most of his professional career, Mr. Avramcev has been working in the private sector, dealing among other things with exports and trading.
Mr. Avramcev has a Bachelor of Science from Deree College, American Colleges of Greece, in Athens, Greece (1975); and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, the United States (1978).
Born in 1954 in Skopje, Mr. Avramcev is married and has two children. He speaks English and Greek.
