Launch of WHO Noncommunicable disease progress monitor, 2017 This new report is being officially launched at the UN General Assembly on 18 September. It charts achievements made by and challenges facing all countries in meeting their commitments to protect people from premature death and suffering from heart and lung diseases, cancers and diabetes, known as noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).
