COVID-19 and mental health
The mental health and well-being of whole communities is being severely impacted by COVID-19 and access to mental health services has been disrupted in many countries. The UN Secretary-General will release a policy brief for government decision-makers this week highlighting what we know about the prevalence of mental health conditions since the COVID-19 pandemic began and what actions governments need to take to prevent a massive increase in mental health conditions.
