Ending Cholera – A Global Roadmap to 2030
The Roadmap aims to reduce 90 percent of cholera deaths by 2030
will be launched on 4 October 2017 by the Global Task Force on Cholera Control (GTFCC)
There are an estimated 2.9 million cholera cases and 95,000 deaths per year globally More than 2 billion people without access to safe water are potentially at risk for cholera Between 40 and 80 million people live in cholera “hot spots” in Africa alone
