Measuring Progress Towards a Green Economy The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will unveil a new report, Measuring Progress Towards a Green Economy, in response to the Rio+20 mandate to assist countries with their transition from carbon-intensive, brown economies to more resource-efficient, sustainable societies. The launch coincides with the UNEP-hosted international conference on green economy indicators, “Measuring the Future We Want,” taking place from 4 to 6 December 2012 at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG).
