UNAIDS Press Conference
UNAIDS to launch new report on HIV prevention gaps.
Following the adoption in June by United Nations Member States of a new Political Declaration on Ending AIDS and ahead of the 2016 International AIDS Conference, taking place in Durban, South Africa, from 18 to 22 July, the UNAIDS Executive Director, Michel Sidibé, will launch a new report from UNAIDS.
The report will contain further analysis of UNAIDS data, which unveil some concerning trends in HIV prevention. The report will also outline a number of solutions to stop new HIV infections and reach the ambitious targets for 2020 as outlined in the 2016 Political Declaration on Ending AIDS and the new UNAIDS Strategy.

The Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerancewill introduce his reports presented at the 32nd session of the Human Rights Council. His main thematic report on xenophobia and its conceptualization, trends and manifestations, especially in the context of an acute migration crisis xenophobia; the second on combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other such practices and the third report on his visit to Greece carried in May 2015.
