Eldon Pearce (D-1)

Chief, Central Support Service, Division of Administration
Mr. Eldon Pearce was appointed Chief of the Central Support Service, Division of Administration of UNOG, in August 2023.
Mr. Pearce has over 30 years of experience as an international civil servant in the United Nations and the UK National Audit Office (NAO). He began his career in 1999 with the NAO, where he qualified as a UK Chartered Public Financial Accountant, while conducting audits at various UK central government departments including the Ministry of Defence and Department for Trade and Industry.
Between 1989 and 2001 Mr Pearce progressed from trainee (assistant) auditor at the NAO to team leader responsible for the audits of seven United Nations clients at Geneva and Vienna (UNOG; UNCTAD; UNECE; UNCC; ITC; UNOV and UNODCP). He was also team leader of the audit of the Pan American Health Organisation and Institute for Nutrition for Central America and Panama.
Mr Pearce joined the UN in 2001 on a secondment basis to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). He finalised and liquidated OCHA’s operations in East Timor and acted as Project Manager for the development and implementation of OCHA's Financial Accounting System. He then successfully applied to UNOG and worked as Chief of the General Accounts Unit between 2002 and 2007 before gaining promotion as Chief of the Finance and Budget Section at the UN Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in 2007.
In his sixteen years at OHCHR, Mr Pearce oversaw the submission of the OHCHR regular budget for five biennia and two annual periods and managed extra-budgetary resources that tripled in value and volume. Mr Pearce successfully defended the budget proposals of OHCHR at the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) and at the UN Fifth Committee on numerous occasions. Mr Pearce also regularly assumed responsibility for the Programme Support and Management Service as Officer-in-Charge, including performing this role for an extended period of eighteen months between 2019 and 2023 and ensured business continuity for essential administrative services during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Pearce holds an Honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom and is a UK Chartered Public Financial Accountant. A national of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, he is married and has two children.
Nataliya Myronenko (D-1)

Chief, Human Resources Management Service
Ms. Nataliya Myronenko has been appointed as the Chief of Human Resources Management Service at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) since April 2016 bringing more than 20 years of experience in human resources management in several departments of the UN Secretariat.
Ms. Nataliya Myronenko joined UN Secretariat in 1998 as a successful candidate of the National Competitive Examination in Legal Affairs. Dedicated to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment, she leverages her expertise to empower UNOG's human capital, enabling the organization to effectively deliver on its mandates. A trusted advisor to senior leadership, she provides strategic and authoritative guidance on complex and sensitive matters, ensuring that HR considerations remain central to organizational decision-making.
Ms. Nataliya Myronenko holds a Master’s degree with honors in Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA.
Born in 1968, Ms. Myronenko has one daughter. A native Ukrainian speaker, she also speaks English, French and Russian.
Sophie Veaudour (D-1)

Chief, Financial Resources Management Service
Ms. Sophie Veaudour has more than 25 years of experience in the area of budget, finance and administration, out of which 20 years at the United Nations, in New York and Geneva. She is currently Chief of the Financial Resources Management Service at UNOG since March 2019.
As the CFO of UNOG she oversees the formulation and the management of budget, finance, payroll and payments, treasury and health insurance services. She is the key focal point working with the Director of Administration on cross-cutting issues such as budget and finance, cost recovery and billing methodology and procedures, internal and external audits, dashboards and financial reporting. Furthermore, she is serving as Co-chair of joint management committees and Boards such as SAFI.
Previously, Ms. Veaudour occupied several positions, including 8 years as Chief Programme Planning and Budget Section at UNOG, and 5 years as Programme Budget Officer at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Before joining the United Nations, Ms. Veaudour worked in the private sector and in international organizations. She initiated her international career at the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva as Financial Analyst /Cost Accountant, where she worked for almost 6 years, providing her a solid foundation on budget, cost recovery and cost accounting matters. Amongst other achievements, she successfully implemented the cost accounting module in the then new Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP).
Ms. Veaudour began her career in the private sector, at Banque Laydernier as Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager where she contributed to the growth of the local agency.
