Join UN Geneva to celebrate the day with the #LotsOfSocks campaign

On 21 March, wear your most colourful socks to raise awareness about Down Syndrome. Take a picture in our photobooth and share it on social media: #WorldDownSyndromeDay #LotsOfSocks #EndTheStereotypes

Join us for a special event with ART21 (Association Romande Trisomie 21), featuring a violin performance by Pearl Lüthy and a testimonial by Jakob Richter, showcasing the talents of young Swiss adults with Down Syndrome. Plus, get creative and design your socks in your favourite colours at our drawing workshop — we'll show them off in our photo booth.

When: 21 March 2024, From 12.00
Where: Building E, 1st floor, Bar Serpent Area
Complimentary refreshments and pastry will be served

This event is sponsored by: Permanent Missions of Albania, Andorra, Australia, Brazil, Lithuania, Dominican Republic and North Macedonia, in collaboration with the UN Office at Geneva and the Association Romande de la Trisomie 21 – ART 21.
