Press Conferences: Geneva International Discussions
Geneva International Discussions The 22nd round of the Geneva International Discussions will take place in Geneva on 11 and 12 December 2012. After the meeting on 12 December, a series of press conferences will take place in Room III, Palais des Nations. The press conferences should start at approximately 5:00 p.m. (time TBC) and would last approximately 30 minutes each. Measuring Progress Towards a Green Economy
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will unveil a new report, Measuring Progress Towards a Green Economy, in response to the Rio+20 mandate to assist countries with their transition from carbon-intensive, brown economies to more resource-efficient, sustainable societies.
The launch coincides with the UNEP-hosted international conference on green economy indicators, “Measuring the Future We Want,” taking place from 4 to 6 December 2012 at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG).
