Launch of new report The Global Climate 2001-2010, A Decade of Climate Extremes. The report analyses global and regional temperatures and precipitation as well as extreme events and their impact on economies and loss of life. The report is being launched to coincide with the first session of the Intergovernmental Board on Climate Services overseeing the provision of climate services to help countries adapt to natural variations in our climate and human induced climate change.
