New data on measles mortality - New data shows that progress towards the elimination of measles has stalled and that large outbreaks of the highly contagious disease are placing hard-earned gains at risk. The latest figures will be published in this week’s WHO Weekly Epidemiological Report and in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
