NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA

Francisco A. Caraballo, the new Permanent Representative of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Michael Møller, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Prior to his appointment to Geneva, Mr. Caraballo had been serving as the first Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Morocco (2010). He served as the Deputy Head of Mission of the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations (2007 to 2009). He worked at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic to the United States in Washington DC from 1997 to 2007, first as a Counsellor, then as the Deputy Head of Mission.

Mr. Caraballo has a Master’s degree in international relations and a postgraduate degree in international business management from Georgetown University in Washington. He has a law degree from the National University Pedro Henriquez.
