NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF BOLIVIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF UNOG

Presentation of Credentials

Angélica Cecilia Navarro Llanos, the new Permanent Representative of Bolivia to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented her credentials to Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Navarro Llanos headed the intellectual property department at the Center for International Environmental Law in Geneva since September 2005. From December 2002 to July 2005, she served as the Second Secretary in the Permanent Mission of Bolivia in Geneva. During that period, she also represented her country at the World Trade Organization. Before then, Ms. Navarro Llanos worked for the European Free Trade Association in Brussels.

Ms. Navarro Llanos received a graduate degree from the Institute of Development Studies of the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom (2001), and also holds a degree in international relations from the College of Mexico.
