NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA
Presentation of Credentials
Dk Mazlizah Pg Hj Mahalee, the new Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented her credentials to Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Prior to her appointment to Geneva, Ms. Mahalee had been serving as the Director of the Trade Division at the Ministry of Finance and Economy since September 2018. She has held several posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, like Director of the Department of International Trade (2015-2018). She served at the Department of Trade Development at the Ministry from 2007 to 2015, first as a Special Duties Officer, then as Assistant Director and finally as Deputy Director. She worked at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources at the beginning of her career.
Ms. Mahalee served as Second Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations Office at Geneva from 1999 to 2004.
