NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF SWAZILAND PRESENTS CREDENTIALS
Presentation of Credentials
Njabuliso Busisiwe Gwebu, the new Permanent Representative of Swaziland to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented her credentials to Michael Møller, the Acting Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Ms. Gwebu started her career at the Swaziland Monetary Authority (the Central Bank of Swaziland) in 1975, before moving to the Ministry of Education where she worked from 1980 to 1997, first as a teacher and then as Head of a Social Department. She was a Councellor on the Manzini City Council (City Board member) from 1998 to 2001. From 2002 to 2005, she was a First Secretary at the Embassy of Swaziland in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and from 2005 to the present, she has held ambassadorial rank.
Ms. Gwebu was born on 19 November 1958. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Botswana and Swaziland (1976) and a Concurrent Diploma in Education (1980) from the same university.
