The Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria informs you that the International Syria Support Group's Humanitarian Access Task Force will convene tomorrow, Thursday 27 October 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
The meeting will be followed by a press stakeout in Hall XIV, at 12:45 p.m., with U.N. Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Staffan de Mistura, and his Special Advisor, Mr. Jan Egeland.

The Ceasefire Task Force will also meet later in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m. No media opportunities will be available for this exercise.

Zika virus and related neurological complications
WHO and partners will issue the first quarterly update on the progress made so far in funding and implementing the Zika Strategic Response Plan, July 2016 to December 2017.
The update is covering three main areas: the evolving public health landscape shaped by Zika virus; examples of the actions WHO and partners have taken to prepare for and respond to Zika and related neurological complications; and the forward-looking research agenda.
