DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF UNOG MEETS WITH MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, met today with Eduard Kukan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
The Director-General and the Minister exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including the current situation in the Conference on Disarmament, preparations for the Tunis Phase of the World Summit on the Information Society, as well as matters related to cooperation in Europe.
The Director-General briefed the Minister on the extensive work of the United Nations Office at Geneva in various fields.
