New Permanent Representative of the Bahamas Presents Credentials to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva

Presentation of Credentials

 

Patricia Ann Hermanns, the new Permanent Representative of the Bahamas to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented her credentials to Tatiana Valovaya, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Prior to her appointment in Geneva, Ms. Hermanns had been working as a banking and insurance executive with over 40 years of experience in the financial services sector in the Bahamas. She worked as the Director of the National Insurance Board of the Bahamas from September 2017 to May 2018. She was President and Director of the Family Guardian Insurance Company and of its parent company FamGuard. She headed the Global Life Insurance Company from 1998 to 2002.

Ms. Hermanns has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree in economics and Spanish from New York University.
