DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF UNOG MEETS WITH ASSISTANT MINISTER OF UNIFICATION POLICY AND PUBLIC RELATIONS OF REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, met today with Mr. Lee Kwan-sei, Assistant Minister of Unification Policy and Public Relations of the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, they discussed a broad range of issues of international concern, in particular the peaceful and verifiable denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.
Mr. Ordzhonikidze thanked the Assistant Minister for the valuable contribution of the Republic of Korea to the work of the United Nations in various fields, including in the area of disarmament and non-proliferation.
